About ........Emma Edingloh

Date of birth:

Place of birth:

Instruments played:

Piano, a bit of the ukulele, a bit of  recorder, also about three chords on the guitar.

Who were your biggest musical influences and why?

My mother. She always made sure that there was music around the house. We sang, played piano and recorder. Our house was never quiet. She also harrased my piano teachers so that they would teach me things I wanted to play. She is the reason that I never lost interest in music.

(Also Nena. She's my childhood idol.)

Do you remember your first-ever gig?

The first concert I really remember was my piano teacher's class concert in a church. I was about 10 and so nervous my hands were shaking. It was also super cold and I couldn't really feel them. What I learned: good conditions at a concert or a gig are a rare thing to find.

What is your all-time favourite song?

Nena's 99 Luftballons. ;)

Also Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.

What is your all-time favourite LP/CD?

LP? What's that???

What are your favourite M & EM songs?

Never Get Away and Next Time.

 Worst-ever gig?

 Never had any of those.

 Most memorable gig?

The Topos gig in February 2018. Special night.

Did you have a childhood ambition?

To become Hannah Montana. Alternatively a mermaid.

What is your ambition now?

To get the best out of life.

Which person do you admire the most, and why?

Malcolm. (He forced me to write this.)

What is your idea of true happiness?

Spending time with my grown up cats.

Which person do you most despise?

Can’t really answer that one. Even though there are a lot of bad people in the world, I have never despised anyone.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Maybe my laziness. Then I would take more time to think about this question.

Tell us one thing we don't know about you?

Well... If I told you I wouldn't have one thing that you don't know about me anymore.
